We rescue dogs and cats and arrange adoptions in Barnsley and the surrounding South Yorkshire area. Our aim is to find new loving forever homes for our dogs and cats.

The success of Royston Animal Welfare depends on our Barnsley based team of volunteers who give their time with no reward, other than being safe in the knowledge that they have helped to give an animal a better life.

We rescue and rehome the animals you will see on our website thanks to all the people who fundraise, run our small charity shop, do the many vets runs, dog walks, animal fostering, telephone messages, accounts, newsletters etc.

We would also like to thank the public that donates and companies that sponsor Royston Animal Welfare.

 As one of the few small, registered charities, all information about our funds and how we spend them is available for the public to view on the Charity Commission website.

All animals who come into our care stay with us, safe and secure until a home can be found for them regardless of how long this takes. 

WE ONLY PUT ANIMALS TO SLEEP ON VETERINARY ADVICE.
